Once the power bank is released, you can take it with you and charge on the go.🔋
Rental rates and daily maximums may vary by location.
Before you confirm your rental, the Joltzly app will show the applicable rental rate, daily maximum, Power Bank fee, pre-authorization amount, and any other applicable charges.
The pricing displayed when you confirm your rental applies to that rental.
No. Once a power bank is released, the transaction cannot be canceled.
The rental ends when the power bank is properly returned to an available Joltzly station slot.
A friend can rent a power bank for you using their own Joltzly account. The rental will remain connected to their account and payment method.
Joltzly power banks include built-in Lightning, USB-C, and Micro-USB cables, making them compatible with most phones and mobile devices.
Make sure you are using the correct connector and that it is securely connected. Disconnect it, reconnect it, and try again.
If it still does not charge, return the power bank to a Joltzly station and contact Support with the station location and rental details.
Check the Joltzly app to see whether an active rental appears.
If the app shows an active rental but no power bank was released, contact Support through the app immediately. Include the station location, approximate time, and a screenshot of the rental screen if possible.
You can return your power bank to any Joltzly station with an available return slot.
You do not need to return it to the same station where you started your rental.
• Follow the return label on the power bank and insert it metal-contact side first.
• Slide it in gently until it locks into place, then check the Joltzly app to confirm that your rental has ended.
If you feel resistance, STOP and check the orientation.
Never force the power bank into the slot.
The station may not have registered the return. This can happen when the power bank is inserted in the wrong direction or is not pushed in completely.
Check that it is locked into the slot and confirm the return in the app.
If the timer continues or the power bank is stuck, contact Joltzly Support immediately and include the station location and approximate return time.
Do not leave the power bank beside or on top of the station. Use the Joltzly app to locate another station, then return the power bank to an available slot.
Your rental continues until the return has been successfully registered.
If the power bank is not returned within 48 hours, the rental automatically ends and the power bank is considered purchased and it is yours to keep. The station may no longer accept it after that time.
The applicable Power Bank fee, rental charges, daily maximum, taxes, and any other applicable charges are shown in the Joltzly app before you confirm your rental.
Pricing may vary by location.
We do our best to offer our users a simple and affordable service. Review the following if you think you were charged incorrectly for your charger.
Payment pre-authorization hold
When you start renting a power bank, Joltzly places a temporary authorization hold on your payment method. It appears as a pending charge and reserves funds for your rental and any applicable non-return fees.
An authorization hold is not a completed charge.
After your rental ends, Joltzly captures the final amount owed and requests the release of the remaining hold. Your bank may take 7–10 business days to remove it from your account.
The hold amount varies by location and is shown before you confirm payment. It may differ from your final charge.
Support requests submitted through the Joltzly website are generally answered within one to two business days. For an active rental, failed return, or continuing timer, contact Support immediately and include the station location and rental details.
